Indications: Treatment of clinical and subclinical mastitis in lactating animals Prevention of post-milking infections Bacterial infections of the mammary gland caused by Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, E. coli, and other susceptible organisms Mechanism of Action: Cefoperazone inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis by binding to penicillin-binding proteins (PBPs), leading to bacterial cell lysis and death.
