It is effective against filamentous fungi, including Fusarium, Aspergillus, and Candida species, making it the preferred choice for fungal keratitis and other ocular mycoses. The sterile formulation ensures safe and targeted delivery to the eye, helping to control infection and prevent complications. Indications: Fungal keratitis Ocular mycoses caused by filamentous fungi and yeasts Post-traumatic fungal infections of the eye Adjunct therapy in superficial ocular fungal infections Mechanism of Action: Natamycin binds to ergosterol in fungal cell membranes, disrupting membrane integrity and inhibiting fungal growth, leading to effective eradication of fungal pathogens. Dosage & Administration: Instill 1 drop in the affected eye(s) every 1–2 hours during the first 48 hours, then reduce frequency as directed by an ophthalmologist. For ophthalmic use only.
