Volk Optical recently released Pictor Workstation — an add-on software platform for its Pictor Plus handheld imager. The new software reportedly increases the power and convenience of the Pictor Plus by helping to improve workflow and managing information and images taken with the device. It offers wireless connectivity and DICOM file support, so records can be managed without immediate access to a desktop computer. And up to nine images can be displayed at the same time for review and image comparison.
